HDMI and VGA input are horizontally next to each other on the adapter.
Unfortunately I don't have a VGA plug available, but I have measured the following:
When an HDMI plug is inserted, there is 15 mm to the centre of the VGA plug. This means that the VGA plug including its plastic part must not exceed a width of 30 mm.
I have now returned the adapter. There are no narrower VGA plugs. I would like to connect two monitors to my laptop at the same time. I have now decided on the docking station from Dell. It now works. Merci!
I have never asked myself this question.
I assume that only one graphics interface can be used at a time.
I don't think there is a graphics card in the laptop that can run two additional displays in parallel via VGA and HDMI.
Why do they want to use both connectors in parallel?
