how can I enter the French characters éààáú etc? Shift only changes to capital ÄÖÜ. Thanks for a tip.

Trio 500 has a German keyboard (DE)

The positions of the special characters, including the letters with accents, are available but hidden. The only thing you can do is try out all the characters without Shift, with Shift and with alt-gr or view a complete keyboard map.

On Android, it might be sufficient to open the special character window on the de-screen keyboard (key << !#1>> ). However, no guarantee.

Tip: Once you have found the keys, you could re-label the keyboard with a fine felt-tip pen.
