I use My Book AV-TV with a Panasonic TV. There is a playback list there. After selecting a particular recording, it can be deleted with a special button on the remote control.

I bought the product to expand my media server to 12 TB. It is not directly connected to the TV. I can access and delete the stored data directly via PC and server. MfG Makobiehl
