Hi, with Lenovo X1 yoga thinkpad for homeoffice and the HDMI cable the resolution on the monitor is still not good enough. Now I want to try it via Disply port cable. That won't change anything, have you tried setting the resolution on the yoga to high? can you set the external display to a different resolution?
In the beginning it worked for me with an HDMI calbe and an HDMI to Mini-DP converter. However, max 30hz was possible. What did work on the x1 yoga is the Displayport cable supplied with it with the following adapter: Delock Mini DP to (DP, 21cm).
This gives me full resolution at 100hz.
