Question about HyperX Cloud Alpha Wired

Hi, my son is playing Fortnite on Switch and he would like a headset. We have seen that the HyperX Cloud Alpha is well rated for its value for money. But can he use the microphone? That seems to be a problem. Thanks for your reply.
