Question about LG HU70LS

Hi, I've had the LG HU70LS for about 3 months and I'm very satisfied. The device has one drawback: When I try to install the Disney + app, I get the message that a system update should be made. Unfortunately, there is no new update from LG. So I can watch Disney+ via the internal browser in the device, but unfortunately it is very slow until the desired film is on. Because on the Netflix app, everything runs subito fast and the desired film is started all of a sudden. There is also the option of bringing the Disney+ to the projector via pad or computer, where it also runs flux. However, I appreciate the possibility of projecting directly via the projector, without any other device. Question: Is there a way to get an update from LG? Does anyone have a tip? Thank you.

I posted this in another thread. I hope it works for you too: Eureka! I've got it! Beamer location in the settings>General to Germany. Update works smoothly. Also Disney+. Afterwards back to Set location automatically. Everything still works fine. CH is recognised as the beamer location. Beamer software was 03.00.08 and is now 04.00.03.

I wrote to LG a few weeks ago about this very grievance. Here is the answer:

Disney+ has not yet been approved for Disney projectors (including those from other manufacturers):

So much for that. WTF, I thought I was buying an up-to-date smart beamer, but apparently that's it with the updates.
