However, the image quality will not be improved by a DP 2.1 cable compared with a 1.4 cable, because the limitation comes from the monitor port itself, which only supports DisplayPort 1.4. The DP 2.1 cable will be compatible, but it will not be able to exploit the advanced features of DisplayPort 2.1 with this display.
