Hi, I have a 6A fuse in the flat :( It likes to switch off when we try to run an electric raclette machine at the same time as a kettle, for example. If I multiply 6A with 230V it is just 1380W... That's not even enough for a hairdryer... I have seen on various sites that pretty much all dual boiler machines need at least 10-12A... Does anyone have experience with this? Does this mean that I can pretty much forget about all coffee machines of this type?
On the Sage website for Switzerland https://www.sageappliances.com/ch... you can speak to a technician online, incl. when it comes to customer support ("Speak to our experts" can be seen on the right). Someone there will definitely answer your question immediately during the week.
Hi. I also have a 6a fuse. I can run a grinder and the dual boiler as long as no other kitchen appliance is running. Otherwise I also have this problem.
I've been using it for about two years and so far it works.
But I'm not an electrician. My fuse box says 500v 25 A as the maximum. But the kitchen socket is on a 6A fuse and as I said, this machine still works as long as you don't switch it on when other appliances are running.
