Question about HPE EH957B StoreEver LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
Hi, I am interested in LTO-5 backups for my home office archive (photography) but have no experience with that technology. I am particularly interested in a drive like this one. Which software for MAC do I need to use it? Thx very much in advance for your help!
Warning: SAS-2 interface, requires a SAS controller card. In addition, it is impossible to access the tape directly, so you need backup software capable of managing ultrium tape recorders/players.
More suited to servers (generally equipped with a SAS interface) than to workstations.
Otherwise, a very powerful streamer. I use it with Backup Exec.
