Question about Elgato Stream Deck

Hi guys, I have the following problem. I have the Stream Deck connected to my iMac and would like to use it as a soundboard for podcast recording. Setting up the deck is really easy, I just can't get the sound on the micro! There were possibilities for the PC, but I can't find an alternative for the iMac. We are currently recording our podcast via Skype and I would like to record sounds, jingles. However, my fellow podcasters only hear the sounds very quietly and in the recording the sounds are also difficult to hear because they sound through the speakers of the iMac and are only then recorded by the mic. But I want a direct connection. Is there a solution? Many thanks for your help!
