Question about Peaktech P 6080 A Linear laboratory power supply unit

If the 5mA and 7mA are meant as absolute values (in constant current mode), it is not possible. If the coarse current regulator of this device is set to 0mA, the current remains at 0mA, regardless of the position of the fine current regulator. (device characteristic)
With other positions of the coarse current regulator (in constant current mode), however, the current can be finely adjusted using the fine current regulator, depending on the set value of the coarse current regulator.

With a little feeling, 10 mA can be set with the coarse adjustment control for the current. 5 or 7 mA are not possible.

I can only set up to approx. 40mA.
(I haven't measured whether it then regulates this correctly...)

Theoretically possible, but on my device it doesn't work.
