The SanDisk gets quite warm when writing, but this is not a problem. I have not felt any negative effects. This SanDisk is very fast for a normal data backup. However, it is not suitable for a NAS server. The data backup via the USB port of a NAS server does not work properly. The SanDisk is often no longer recognised and no more data is backed up.
