Hi, can you please specify the bulb that is appropriate for replacement? I took the old bulb tot he store and the salesperson apparently gave me a bulb that was not strong enough to heat the lamp to make it do its lava job.

The appropriate replacement bulb for the Rainbow Lava Lamp by i-Total is a 30-watt incandescent bulb. This wattage is necessary to generate enough heat to melt the wax and create the lava effect properly. Using a bulb with lower wattage will not heat the lamp sufficiently to make the lava flow.
