Hi all, I bought the microphone and would now like to attach the part to my Alpha 6600 camera flash shoes. Unfortunately, the bottom 2 threaded washers are interfering and I just can't manage to loosen the threads. If anyone could give me a tip, I would be super grateful.

I wouldn't mess around with it. The Sony MIS hot shoe is quite sensitive, especially at the front with the fine contacts. I would mount a cage or L bracket with a cold shoe and screw the Mik on there. Example from Smallrig
