Hey, I bought this hard drive to expand the storage capacity of my Medion Akoya P56005. Unfortunately it is not recognised by the PC, do I have to activate anything in the settings?

Go to the computer administration, then to disk management and see if it is displayed there, perhaps it still needs to be formatted.
