Hey can I use the Lenovo Active Pen 2 with any Windows device (Dell), i.e. with Windows Ink/Microsoft Pen Protocol. Also, can I erase with the back of the pen when I write, like I do with the Surface Pen?

Unfortunately no, this pen is Lenovo specific and even there you have to make sure it fits. We have three different Yoga in use (fans) and it works very well on all of them. It doesn't work on a Samsung tablet. 
The solution with three batteries is a bit tedious, otherwise very pleasant and precise.
