Hello I would like to connect my HP Z240 Tower Workstation to an LG Ultrafine monitor (USB-C) with this adapter. Will the adapter work with these two components? Thanks a lot

Thank you very much for your answer. You are right, the adapter is not necessary, a DP to USB-C cable would be sufficient for me. It would be important to know whether the reverse direction also works.

I'm not sure if this will work, the adapter is intended for USB-C to DP, not the other way round. However, it doesn't really make sense to spend CHF 48 if you only have one monitor. This adapter is meant for two monitors. I use it to connect my laptop with USB-C Out to two monitors with DisplayPort.
