Hello, I see in the questions a contradiction about the product, in fact, once you say that it is not compatible with a Mac (without installing NTFS software), and another time you say that it is perfectly compatible ......How do you explain this contradiction? What is this hard drive really used for? Is it compatible with a Macbook Pro silicone M3? Thank you for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you. Vince

Hi SylvainH24, LaCie Mobile Drive 5 TB yes, it is Mac compatible. I bought it for my MacBook M4 version and it works perfectly. It is also officially sold by Apple in the Apple shop.
