Hello, I have the same problem as greg.a How can I shorten the cables and electrical wires? We want to hang the lamp 1m from the ceiling. When we press as indicated on the instructions, it doesn't change anything. Thanks for your help!

First loosen the screw where the steel wire is inserted (screw thread). Then press this screw thread up slightly and push the wire at the same time.
