Question about i-tec USB-C to

Hello I have a Lenovo Thinkpad. In the shop I always connect it to the docking station with a USB C cable. For home I now have two monitors. I would like to connect one directly to my laptop with HDMI. Since I lack a second HDMI interface, I intend to connect the second monitor with this adapter. I then need to be able to extend my desktop to these two monitors. Will this work? Does anyone have any experience?
