I bought this sensor.
The background thought was to extend the hardtubes, so I thought I'd screw on an icicle on both sides and thats it!
But... I couldn't screw it on, only the adapter that came with it...
It says G1/4...

Theoretically, it should work because it has a G1/4 thread on both sides.
But I agree with the previous speakers. The sensor should not be used as an extension piece for two tubes. There are better alternatives.

It is a water temperature sensor..... and not a hardtube extension...... I don't quite understand your question.

The thread is G1/4, the double nipple supplied has relatively long threads. That's why I bought this one, it fits perfectly.
