Answer

The supplied cables are long enough. They are a bit bulky because HDMI, USB and 2x 3.5mm jacks are designed like a ribbon cable. The KVM switch is unfortunately not near me, but the cables are at least a metre long if not 1.5 m.
So far we have had no problems with connected displays and from PC, Mac mini and Raspberry.
