Hello, would you buy a tablet if you can't expand the storage space? Is the 256GB enough? It's for the children. This is mainly to install various apps and games. Many thanks for your help. Pele

As with everything. It depends on what the kids install and, importantly, how the additional memory card is integrated into the system.

I was able to install an SD card on a cheap SAMSUNG smartphone back then. However, the Samsung smartphone did not offer the option of fully integrating the card into the system. It was almost like an additional drive. Apps, pictures, music - everything had to be moved to the card manually. You couldn't select the card as the main memory - it was just annoying.

I think the XIAOMI Pad 6 mentioned above should have enough resources for now. And if the memory is cluttered with unnecessary junk, you can learn to "tidy up your room" and practise moderation. Not everything is always and everywhere inexhaustibly available.

To answer the question. After the failure of the Samsung device mentioned above, I would always buy a tablet/smartphone that doesn't have the minimum configuration. If it also offers the option of installing an SD card later, then okay, but I wouldn't rely on it being fully integrated into the system before buying it.

256 GB is a really large memory. The tablet itself takes a bit of getting used to. There is no home or back button. You have to swipe from the right edge to the left to go back, and from the bottom to the top for the home function.
But otherwise I'm happy with the tablet. It works very quickly and I have already loaded a lot of apps and still only have 41 GB occupied, so I still have over 200 GB free.

In my opinion, this is sufficient for the intended use described. The system uses approx. 25GB. I have saved some Phosts and films and used 83GB of memory. So there's still "plenty of room for improvement".
