Hello, with my machine, water also comes out of the milk froth opening for lungo, espresso and ristretto even though the frother is not plugged in... does it help to cool it down? Lg christoph
I think it's more likely a defect....
In my case, only water comes out of the foamer when descaling!
Try to descale according to the instructions, otherwise report it under warranty.
A machine like the Atelier should be descaled approximately every three months. But it's worth a try, but I fear a defect in the brewing unit.
