Question about Sennheiser Pxc 550
Hello together! My problem is that the headphones usually switch on but then switch off again shortly afterwards. This often happens 2-3 times until the headphones stay on permanently. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? With a software update or resetting to the factory settings (if this is at all possible with headphones)?
The problem is mechanical and unfortunately cannot be solved by software: The headphones are activated via a reed switch that is switched on by a magnet in the bracket when the earcups are turned. This reed contact gives up its ghost shortly after the expiry of the warranty period and makes the headphones worthless. I had to purchase a replacement product at my own expense.
(At the time, I found tips in reddit forums that recommended replacing the magnet with a stronger one, which unfortunately did not work for me).

I agree with the opinion of " digiteccer ". I also think that it is the "on-off" contacts.
