My initial situation: Dell notebook, HP monitor and Asus monitor (both with DVI connection). I have an HDMI and a USB-C interface on the notebook. I can therefore connect a monitor to the notebook via a DVI-HDMI cable - it works great.

Now the question is how I can connect the second monitor to the notebook (DVI-Displayport, unfortunately Displayport-USB-C does not work).

Would DVI-USB-C work or is the problem that Dell does not support different monitor brands?
