For me, the scanner works with macOS Sonoma 14.0 when I connect the scanner directly to the laptop with a USB C to C cable (the one from the MacBook charger). If I use the supplied USB C to A cable and connect it to the MacBook Air via a USB A to C adapter, it does not work.

According to my Google search, Samona is macOS?
I have Linux and it didn't work with that operating system. But I don't know about mac.
