Question about ASUS PCE-AX58BT AX3000 WiFi 6 Adapter
Hello together I bought this card, plugged it in, installed it and nothing was there :-/. Bios update also brought nothing. But when I removed an m.2, everything worked. I have an asus x470 f gaming board. Is there a way to run the card and both m.2s? Kind regards
I'm not 100% sure, but because nvme ssds are accessed via the pci bus (and require a large bandwidth), your cpu or motherboard may not have enough lines to recognise other pci devices, or the motherboard may have distributed the lines to the different ports.
on my mainboard, the m.2 slot is installed in such a way that it shares lines with some of my sata ports. this means that i can use either or, but not both.
I recommend reading your motherboard manual, you might be able to fix the problem that way.
Maybe a pci carte with m.2 connector could help you.
I use this card with 2 SSD drives (SATA) and it works perfectly. I have no experience with m.2 (yet)!
