No, I don't think that fits. The M740 (if the original mainboard D3348-A2x is installed) does not support DDR3 RAMS, only DDR4. Please keep an eye out for DDR4 RAMS. The RipJawsX you are looking at is a DDR3 RAM.
And be careful, if a Xeon processor is installed, probably only ECC RAMs will work.
Try to find out what kind of mainboard and what kind of processor is installed. It's all in the BIOS/UEFI.
