Hello. The smart socket keeps disconnecting and going offline. I can't turn it back on, either with the app or manually with the button. I have to disconnect it from the socket and reconnect it for it to work again with the button or the app. My network signal is good -61dBm. Any ideas?
According to the technical support diagnosis (carried out remotely, which is also very efficient!): The problem seems to come from a network instability... I don't have any solar panels or heavy consumers. I'm going to try another brand of Smart Socket...
Technical support answer: In the log of your device identifier, I see that it encounters "error 2" most of the time. This fault occurs in the event of overload and, to protect against it, the network switches itself off. This problem is becoming more and more frequent on the Dutch network, partly because of all the energy supplied to the network by private individuals. Many older cables are not designed for this, which can lead to voltage fluctuations at the sockets. Are your own solar panels or other heavy electrical appliances connected? You can try to see if the problem occurs when you unplug these devices. If the problem persists, you can also contact the grid operator. The more complaints there are in your area, the quicker they will work to stabilise the supply.
