Hello , perhaps a simple question: But can the lamp also be simply switched on by oldstuff light switch like normal floor lamps?

Yes, it works. However, I always lose the colour setting.

I'm not sure. But switch it on for sure and I think you can adjust the light via the app and it will stay like that. But better a question for philips and ask if the lamp can be used without Hue hub.
