Question about Focusrite Scarlett solo 3rd gene

Hello, my laptop and as I have noticed various, can only make mono recordings via the jack input. Is this device something for me that I can make normal stereo recordings? I already have a microphone and mixer, but I can only transfer the recordings in mono. With the PC it works via the normal sound card. Thank you very much for your answer.

Voices are NEVER recorded in stereo. However, I can still highly recommend Focusrite, the recording and playback quality are very good.
