The silver one is the "Silver Edition"! I have had the device since this week (bought at Digitec) and it is the "Silver Edition". The BB is great and makes it fun, I had the black one before but the silver one is higher quality and classier. However, the silver one also weighs a bit more, 205 grams according to the manufacturer!

But I can recommend it and the BB PP SE is great!

TO DIGITEC: THE ACCESSORIES OF THE NORMAL ONE DO NOT FIT THE SILVER EDITION!!! PLEASE ADJUST IT IN THE SHOP. Question: Do you still include the accessories for the SE version in your range? Or can I order them from you?

it is def. the silver edition of the blackberry passport ==> 1. the bb passport is not otherwise available in silver 2. it can be recognised by the wider edge below the keyboard 3. the device has rounded edges 4. the spaces between the keyboard are one with the frame of the device. ==> I am very curious to hear an assessment of the device from g-hack! :-)

This BB is not yet the Silver Edition.
I just thought the same thing, that it is the Silver Edition. But supposedly this will be released a few weeks later.
Although the photo above looks like the Silver Edition. I would be interested to see the back of the BB in the picture above.
I haven't seen a normal BB PP in silver yet, except for the upcoming Silver Edition.

Why I know all this just now, I am in contact with Digitec regarding the Silver Edition. I hope it comes out soon, although everything remains the same data-wise, it is worth buying the Silver Edition for the visual and handy use.
