Hombli Smart Swiss Socket 2+1
Hello, I would like to use my Hombli Smart Socket to switch LED lights (in my case for terminal block models) on and off. Unfortunately, switching off does not work, the LED lights always get power, regardless of whether the socket is switched on or off. The app shows approx. 3-4 watts (and approx. 30 mA). Does the connected load have to have a minimum wattage for the switch-off to work?
Hello
Yes, it can happen that this problem occurs.
The cause lies in the hardware and not in the software.
Try inserting the consumer plug less deeply into the hombil Smart Socket.
Kind regards

Hello, I've also had the same problem and in my case the solution was not to push the plug all the way into the socket. If the equipment is working normally, the relay switches on and off audibly and is not linked to the consumption of the appliance connected.
Hello,
The socket works, on/off, even if there's nothing plugged in. You can clearly hear the relay operating, either with the button on the socket or with the application.
Best regards.
Personally, I use several of these plugs and have never had any problems. They are designed to control 220 volt current and when a command is activated it switches on or off without any problem.
Hello,
I have several Hombli and they work fine for me. Perhaps you have programmed them incorrectly.
Kind regards, Diana
My model switches ON/OFF even without a connected load. The switch sound is clearly audible on these models. The LED on the side indicates the status. If your model behaves differently without a load, test it closer to the WLAN or replace it.
I fitted 6 of them a few weeks ago and they always work perfectly. You shouldn't expect anything different.
Test your Hombli plug with another consumer to check that the wifi signal is really OK...
