Hello - I would like to mount this cooler on the Corsair Crystal 570x. However, I will be replacing the fans that come with the H100i with RGB fans. I thought I could use the ones mounted in the case. But these fans have 3 pins and the H100i has 4 pin connectors. Can I connect all fans incl. H100 directly to the mainboard or even to the GTX1080 TI OC? Or do I really need 4pin fans? Thank you!

Hello

You would then of course connect the fans to the mainboard and not to the graphics card.
The difference between 3 and 4 pin connections is that the 3Piners always rotate at full power, i.e. with 12V, but there is software with which you can regulate the voltage and thus also the speed. 4Piners are regulated up and down depending on the temperature, in addition the 4th pin (PWM), this happens automatically provided your mainboard has 4Pin fan connections.

If you replace the fans, you should make sure that the fans have a sufficiently high static pressure, more about this here, but your existing fans should also do it:
