If the device is plugged into the socket, the clock lights up all the time. If you charge the unit via USB and do not plug it into the socket, the clock switches off after approx. 2 minutes. The clock does not light up again until the light is switched on.

There is a sleep mode so that the alarm clock switches off the light after 20min. There are also 3 dimming levels, but unfortunately we have no further information from the manufacturer regarding the snooze button.
