Question about Steffen digital brilliant

The display should show something, at least when plugged in. A defect is always possible! This could be the case here. Perhaps the measuring device is currently too warm ;-). I would report it to Digitec's customer service. It is also possible that the units have been in stock for years and therefore no longer work. Who knows...

I had the same problem. In general, such products with built-in rechargeable batteries seem to be of little use. I've also had a digital timer where the display no longer came on after 1 year. Really inferior goods being sold here.

Hello, I also have the same problem, the display does not seem to work, among other things it seems to have already been used, the packaging on the back was already opened. Too bad I don't expect faulty products from Digitec.

Unfortunately, I can't really help you. With my unit, the dispay was off as long as the meter was not connected to the power supply. With power on, there was an immediate display. However, the display is not illuminated and it is very difficult to see. But it can't be that dark...
It is very strange that you have received two assembly units.
I think that Galaxus customer service is the better contact.

No, unfortunately, on both products I received, the display is always off and no matter which button I use, nothing happens.
Two out of two... I suspect that they have been stored for a long time, that the internal batteries are completely discharged and that the product no longer works after they have been exhausted.
Obviously the batteries are not replaceable....
What a useless waste!

When current flows - i.e. when a consumer is plugged into the Steffen Digital Brilliant and the Steffen Digital Brilliant is plugged into a socket - the display of the Steffen Digital Brilliant shows me something.
