hello :) i have the problem with my corsair h100i v2 that the cores of my cpu intel core i7 6700k heats up constantly to 90°, i have already put a new heat conductive paste on it but the problem still doesn't seem to be solved :/ and the water shouldn't be changed actually i assume with an all in one water cooler?

If the system has been running for a long time and has only recently become so hot, all fans are turning and the radiator is more or less dust-free, the pump is probably broken. In this case, I would check whether you still have warranty on the AIO cooler. If a stock cooler was included with the 6700k, you can install it temporarily if necessary, then you can still use the PC during the replacement. Just reset the overclock to stock, otherwise it will get hot again ;)

I would also compare the temperature of the water in the hoses and the temperature of the CPU block. I have already read about pump failures several times. If the hoses are cold but the block is hot, then a defect is also conceivable in your case.

75 degrees water temp is way too high! There is definitely something wrong with the cooler, 99% the pump!
I would recommend that you file a warranty claim with digitec (if ordered from digitec).

The normal water temperature should not exceed 60 degrees.
I myself use a Kraken x62 with an i9-7900X and the water temperature never goes above 40 degrees.

Kind regards

well so on the corsair link driver it says that the water temperature is 75°, the fans have a rpm of 1500 don't know now if this is the normal condition

Yes, then I would definitely make everything dust-free, if that doesn't help, the only thing left is the pump.

the cpu has only recently become so hot but the cpu load is at a continuous 8%, yes the fans are also spinning normally but when starting they sometimes make an unusually loud noise which then subsides after a while.

Did you just install the system or did the cpu just start getting hot?
Are the fans really spinning when you start the system?
