I have just received back my watch that was a few weeks new/old. However, no repair was carried out under warranty or a replacement item was supplied. I was simply sent back the defective unit. The display still has the same air flakes as previously described, so there was definitely no repair.

Answer

The best thing to do is to contact Digitec Galaxus customer service directly and ask what happened. One option would be to take the device directly to Apple.
