Hello, I have connected the display to an iMac 27" 5K, 2017 and can only set it to a maximum of 30Hz. How do I get the promised 60Hz? I have connected the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter from Apple to the original HDMI cable from the display. Thanks

Have you ever tried to reset the NVRAM?

To transmit 60Hz at 3840x2160 pixels via HDMI, an HDMI 2.0 or better interface must be used. The monitor has two HDMI interfaces, one is HDMI 2.0 and can transmit 60Hz, the other only HDMI 1.4. And with HDMI 1.4 you can only get a refresh rate of 30Hz at 3840x2160 pixels. Via DisplayPort, 60Hz would also work, even from DisplayPort 1.2. I would check the HDMI 2.0 connection on the screen, which should actually work if the AV USB-C adapter can really output 60Hz. Otherwise, I would try a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter, which is guaranteed to work with 60Hz, because the screen has a DisplayPort 1.2 interface.
