Hello, I have a MacBook Air 2020 and I bought a DisplayPort - USB-C cable. Unfortunately, I cannot connect my MacBook to the display. Can anyone help me?
Just buy a USBC to DP adapter. The answer from obseus is pretty nonsensical. I have been working with normal monitors and MacBooks for years.
When you buy a Mac, you have to buy everything else expensively from Apple.
They do this on purpose to sell their expensive cables.
I would sell the Mac and buy a laptop from the free world, where competition plays and prices and performance are right.
