Hello, I am looking for a wide-angle lens for astrophotography. According to my research, the most recommended lens for the Sony Alpha 6,000 series (I have the 6400 myself) is the Samyang 12mm / f2.0. But what puts me off is the alleged series dispersion with this lens. It would annoy me to return a lens 3 or 4 times before I get a decent one. I haven't read anything about that here in the comments, but in other forums/Youtube channels it's quite a topic. As an alternative, I also looked at the Sigma 16mm / f.1.4. This is a bit more expensive, but has aperture 1.4, on the other hand only 16mm. Does anyone here have experience with these two lenses, especially with regard to astrophotography?
An alternative would be the Zeiss Touit 12mm: Zeiss Touit 12mm, f/2.8
Basically, however, the choice of fast fixed focal lengths suitable for astro is larger for Sony full-frame. There is, for example, the fabulous Sigma 14mm f1.8.
When I finally make it out into the night, I'll finally try astrophotography. It's been on my to-do list for a long time.
