I am completely confused. I received my Chromebook R13 CB5-312 today. My uncertainty lies with the mouse pad.

I have the feeling that when I put a minimal amount of force on it and try to move it, the mouse pad has a certain amount of play, i.e. it can be moved by about 1mm. Somehow this is irritating for me, because I don't know whether it has to be like this or whether it is a defect. (Maybe something is not mounted correctly in the housing)

I am very grateful for feedback, preferably before the warranty expires. :-)

We've had the Chromebook for over a year and the mousepad itself is firm, I just tested it again. 
Of course, the two mouse buttons are at the bottom of the pad and they move 1-1.5mm downwards - that could be the perceived play. Otherwise, we are completely satisfied with the Chromebook.

Hi, I have had my acer R13 for a year now but do not have the problem described. The touchpad is firmly in place.
