Question about Garmin HRM-Run
Hello everyone, can I also use this chest strap with my Garmin Instinct watch? Especially the functions cadence/contact time etc. ? I also use the garmin connect app. Thanks in advance! Jens
The Instinct does not have Running Dynamics, i.e. you will not be able to use the extended data from the chest strap. According to the manufacturer, only the Dual strap is compatible, this one is not.
As I understand it, the chest strap is only used to measure the heart rate. Step rate etc. are measured directly by the watch if it supports this.
