Question about Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2
Hello everyone, I would like to know if I can saw off the bowl ring, or does it have a function? I realise that I will lose the warranty, but I need an even smaller design. Many thanks and best regards.

In the lower ring area of the Galaxy SmartTag2 there is a small hole for opening the battery compartment. Once you have inserted the included ejector pin here, you can pull out the compartment at the bottom and replace the battery. We therefore recommend that you do not saw it off.

Hi Berthur! Go to YouTube and search for "Samsung Tag 2 Teardown" for details. Short answer: yes you can probably saw it off as the electronics seem to be at the bottom. Answer as always without guarantee.
