Hello everyone, I bought a Canoscan LIDE 300. Installation (apparently) went smoothly. Unfortunately, when I try to scan, I only get the error message: 2, 156, 50 -> probably indicates a USB problem.... I have installed Win 11. Scanner runs smoothly on my wife's MacBook. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks and best regards
I think I have finally solved it, maybe it is a conflict with the Microsoft driver, with this .bat file launched before the scan, it is fine:
@echo off
sc config stisvc start= disabled
sc stop stisvc
echo The stisvc service has been disabled and stopped.
pause
Hi Thomas, I have the same problems with my CanoScan LiDE 300. The scanner works with the laptop (Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2), but not with the other one. So you are not alone with the problems. It also said that the installation was completed without any problems. (Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2) is it due to the version? No idea, greetings Ivana52
