`Hello everyone, did you also just receive the Ram in a plastic sleeve with a seal from Digitec *quality control*? I'm having problems with this ram not working in a DS218+ even though it says here in the reviews that it works fine.

If I'm reading correctly, did you buy the 8Gb variant of the Crucial memory?
According to the Synology manual, the DS218+ supports an upgrade to 6Gb (including the 2Gb internal). The 8Gb module will therefore probably not work.
