Hello, does this monitor have a protective film? I've tried to peel it off at one corner, but I'm starting to feel like I'm pulling off some kind of coating.
Thanks for any answers, Torsten
Yes, the Samsung ViewFinity S6 S65VC is usually supplied with protective film, which should be removed after unpacking. However, it is extremely important to distinguish between the removable transport protection film and the permanently installed polarisation film. Where to find protective films On the display panel: If present, this film can usually be recognised by a tab in one of the corners (often top left or right) or by a barcode sticker directly on the screen. On the bezel: The glossy plastic frame of the monitor is often protected all round with narrow, bluish or transparent adhesive strips. On the webcam: As the Samsung ViewFinity S65VC has an integrated webcam, there may also be a tiny protective film on the camera lens that needs to be removed for a sharp image. Never remove a film that does not have a tab and extends below the housing frame.
