Hello! Does this docking station also work for a Macbook Pro 2017 that has Thunderbolt 2 ports? Or does it only work for Thunderbolt 3? Thanks for the answer!

Thunderbolt 2 and 3 are different connectors, so this adapter does not work for TB2:
