no there is no thread, it is just clamped onto the screen.

I no longer have the camera in use. But I don't think it has a connection. If you look on the Etsy platform, you can find an adapter holder from the 3D printer. You can also use the existing clip and drill a hole to make it fit with a bit of DIY work.
